SALAKA is contracted by the African Wildlife Foundation, to coordinate their canines for conservation program.The program focuses on training dogs and handlers to detect illicit wildlife products such as Ivory and Rhino horn at ports, airports and borders across Africa. The aim is to cut off certain smuggling routes and do our bit to reduce the trade in Ivory and Rhino horn. 33,000 elephants are being killed every year and we all need to do something to help.
